The Monte Rosa Tour
Well known all around the world for the breathtaking panorama it offers both in Italy than in Switzerland, the Monte Rosa Tour is a fascinating trekking on the Alps that follows the massif of Monte Rosa and it may be done from May till October.
This trekking is a real tour in the six valleys around the Monte Rosa, a great excursion at high altitude along an untouched nature and ancient villages populated by the Walser. Circular itinerary around the Monte Rosa, it may be started from any of the stages of the journey following both directions, clockwise or anticlockwise.
From Macugnaga it is possible to start the itinerary going towards the Saas Valley in Switzerland, crossing the Monte Moro Pass, or towards Alagna in the Valsesia valley through the Turlo Pass.
